Today, my Madison is three months old! I can't get over the way time has accelerated. The first three weeks after we had her dragged by. I thought time had stopped! And then, without me noticing the transition, time started flying by more quickly than ever before.
I cannot believe that my little (not) newborn is cooing, reaching, grabbing, rolling onto her side, and eating her knuckles nonstop! She does 180's in her crib, she sits up in her bumbo chair like a champ, and she can grab and hold onto her elephant like nobody's business! She holds conversations with us, waiting her turn to speak (okay, she does still interrupt us occasionally, but we're working on that). She reads her books to us and turns the pages for us. She holds her diaper for us on the changing table. She helps me fold socks.
She has also started to get more snuggly. When she was a newborn, she preferred her swing to being held. Okay, she still prefers her swing to being held, but she puts up with us holding her a lot longer than she used to! She smiles, laughs, and tells jokes (blows raspberries).
She makes the sign for milk, but only while she's eating. I don't think she understands that she can use the sign to ask for milk yet.
Basically, I'm in love with everything about her. I couldn't be more proud of her. And without further ado, I'd like to introduce my sweet 3 month old daughter, Madison.
Love her!
